The College Applicant s Keep it Simple Scorecard is a one-of-a-kind tool to help you make one of the most important decisions of your life. This app combines a full database on 2,000+ colleges and universities with a guide to qualities you should consider in a school with a scorecard to track which colleges are the best ones for you. The idea was to design an app that you can take with you from early stages when you re just deciding which schools to apply for, to the campus visits and your final decision. The process balances informative content with many ways for you to make it your own scorecard, based on what you think is important. It s a simple 3 step process: 1. CRITERIA: decide what you are looking for in a new college and how important they are. Change weights to update the criteria list until the order makes sense to you. When choosing specific features, we do our best to guide you, with common features listed for you to check off and the option to add unique ones, and If you prefer, just build your wish list as you go. 2. LONG LIST: when you first go to the Scoring tab you are asked for your Search Criteria. These are your Must Haves in a school, including majors, test scores, GPAs and regions of the country. Then a list of all your choices is made for you. And you can add your own by entering any name of course. 3. SCORING: As you consider colleges you can give them scores in all the criteria that you chose before and see which ones come out on top by looking in your own personal RANKING page. Hide or delete colleges that are out of the running as you go. Go into more details, including taking photos as you visit each college, and update scoring until you find your NUMBER 1. Our wish: a smart, accurate and complete evaluation which leads you the best college you can find, with less risk, stress and anxiety.
